Mark Stephen Felice Mark Stephen Felice, was born March 22, 1986 in Camden, New Jersey and passed from this life on October 15, 2003 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was 17. Mark will always be remembered for his relentless courage, optimism and spirit. He was a senior at St. Michael’s Academy where he was a member of the National Honor Society and proud editor of the school newspaper. He was a peer leader with intense determination and desire to excel. Mark had a high level of integrity and compassion for others. His interests and accomplishments included Varsity soccer, baseball, wakeboarding and skiing. Mark’s family would like to express their appreciation to the faculty at St. Michael’s for helping Mark remain an involved, active participant in school classes and activities while battling his illness. Special thanks to Dr. Lockhart, Jennifer, Erin and the entire group at ‘Specially for Children’ and the green floor at Children’s Hospital of Austin for caring so tirelessly for Mark. He is survived by his parents, Steve and Katie; sisters, Jeana and Lauren; grandparents, John and Gabriella Felice and James Pearce; uncles and aunts, Richard and Pamela Felice, Richard and Barbara Howarth and Carolyn Pearce; great-grandparents, Mary Felice and Dino and Armanda Martinucci; cousins, Kimberly, Kristin and Richard Felice; and countless friends in both Austin and Philadelphia. He was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Dorothy Felice and Jean Pearce. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, October 17th at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 18, 2003 at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 5455 Bee Cave Rd. with Rev. John Payne, S.J. as celebrant. Interment will follow at Austin Memorial Park.
