

Mary Cecelia Taylor Camp Mary Camp of Austin, TX passed away suddenly Sunday, May 29. She was born September 1, 1913, in Texarkana, TX to Thomas and Gertie Taylor. She married Horace Camp in 1933, and they lived in Texarkana where she spent her professional career in retail management. Following retirement, they moved to Austin in 1984, where they were active in their church and enjoyed travel, cooking, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A few years after her husbands death, Mary moved to Brighton Gardens Assisted Living where she met new friends and enjoyed her remaining years. Surviving her are two sons and their families Tom and Linda Camp of Austin; their children, Taylor and wife, Bonnie, of Houston; Erin and her children, Andrew and Alexandra of Shreveport; John and Lorraine Camp of Austin; and their children, John, Matthew, David and Sarah, of Austin. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, May 31, at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home. Funeral services, officiated by the Reverend David Boyd of St. Davids Episcopal Church, will be held Wednesday, June 1, 2 p.m., in the chapel at Weed-Corley-Fish. Committal will follow at Austin Memorial Park. Marys grandchildren will serve as pallbearers. The family requests that remembrances be made to the charity of your choice.
