

She was employed at Texas A&M for 38 years; however, the majority of those years were spent working for the Veterinary Pathobiology Department. She was a great mother, wife, sister, aunt and devoted grandmother. She loved gardening, cooking, sewing, watching her novellas, spending time with her family, and most importantly spending time with her two grandbabies Layla and Liam. She will be deeply missed by so many.
Survivors include her husband of 31 years George Jewell, her daughter Leighann and son-in-law Joshua Mosqueda, her two grandchildren, whom she adored greatly, Layla and Liam Mosqueda, her sisters Connie Hernandez of Luling, Rose and John Grace III of Burleson, Linda Brodigan sister in law Ofelia Lopez and her brother Jerry and Mary Garcia of Bryan. She had several nieces and nephews and each one was special to her.
She was preceded in death by her parents Juan and Teresa Garcia and her brothers Ted Lopez and John Garcia Jr.
A visitation will be held December 29th 2016 at Hiller Funeral Home in College Station from 5:30-8:30pm with a Rosary to begin at 6:30 pm followed by a memorial sharing after the rosary (think about what you might want to say).
A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, December 30, 2016 at 3:00pm at St. Joseph Catholic Church with burial to follow at Aggie Field of Honor.
She will always be here guiding her family and smiling down upon them.
