Mary Lynn McCrory

Mary Lynn McCrory was born September 21st, 1959 in St Joseph’s Hospital in Houston, Texas and died in Austin, Texas on January 29, 2025. She is survived by her parents Pat and Don McCrory and her siblings Colleen (Arthur Frerichs), Ed McCrory, Margie (Tom Tillitoson) and Timothy McCrory. She has many nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews and numerous extended relatives.

Mary Lynn graduated from Stratford High School in 1978 where she was a member of their dance team, the Spartanaires, and then graduated with a BS from Sam Houston State University in 1983. She lived and worked in Austin, TX her whole adult life. Her favorite hobby was oil painting and she also enjoyed music - playing guitar and singing in the church choir.

Mary Lynn was an active member of St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church where she attended mass and prayed the rosary daily as well as possessing a steadfast love and devotion for our Blessed Mother, Mary.

Special thanks to the many Doctors, Clergy, and friends who have supported Mary Lynn’s independence and happiness over her lifetime.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to be sent to St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church at 4800 Convict Hill Road, Austin, TX, 78749.
