

Mary “Vaughan” Nunn (Fulwiler), 66, passed away Saturday, October 8, 2016, after a long illness. Her devotion to her family and her firm belief in God supported her in her struggle and ultimately gave her peace. She is now free of pain and is reunited with her beloved mother, father and brothers.
Vaughan was born to Harry and Jean Fulwiler, in Abilene, Texas on June 10, 1950. She attended Gulf Park College in Long Beach, Mississippi and the University of Texas in Austin, Texas. She married Bradlee Nunn in Dallas, on July 29, 1972. She has two children, Jennifer born in Key West, Florida and Phillip born in Austin, Texas. She raised her two children in Austin, Texas.
Vaughan enjoyed needle-point, scrap-booking, watching the Cowboys and Longhorns, playing with her many “westies,” and reading her bible. She was kind and welcoming, and always opened her home to anyone in need.
Vaughan is survived by her husband, Brad of Gulfport, Mississippi; her daughter Jennifer Balandran and husband Lee of Austin; her son Phillip and wife Cristiana of Wylie, Texas; her six grandsons Noah, Aiden, Liam, Owen, Maddox and Kai; brother Jimmy and wife Annabelle; nephew Jeff; and niece Brooke of Buda. She is preceded in death by her father, mother, and brothers, Ronnie and Dale.
A Graveside Service for Vaughan will held 2:00 P.M., Sunday, October 16, 2016, at the Cook Walden/Forest Oaks Memorial Park. The family has gratefully declined on flowers and donations but, has asked, ”That everyone consider signing an organ donation card”.
