

Melisa shared a loving and close relationship with her family and many friends. An avid pet lover she is predeceased in death by her adored sheltie Bruce and leaves behind her sweet toy sheltie Bella.
She is survived by her parents Pat and Patsy Sconci; brother, Pat Jr.; sisters Mary and Marjorie; nieces Bretagne and her husband Raymond, and Kimberly and her children Kristin and Tyler; as well as aunts that were special in her heart, Margie, Jeanette, Annette, Jnoetta and Carol. Melisa was employed for many years with the Llegacy Texas Rehabilitation Commission, where she served as a Medical Services Coordinator and Trainer. Melisa’s hobby were baking and cooking; as proclaimed by friends and family, she was an extraordinary self-made Chef. Pallbearers will be Don Sconci, Raymond Abirached, Horace Joseph, Anthony Joseph, Richard Ferris and Richard Hopkins. Honorary Pallbearers will be Joe J. Joseph Jr., Salem Joseph, Jim Daywood, Trey Daywood, Kenneth Friday, Ron Friday and Dr. Greg Marchand. Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family Tuesday, the 18th of June from six to half past seven in the evening with a recitation of the Rosary immediately following at Cook Walden Funeral Home, 6100 North Lamar Austin, TX. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, the 19th of June at Ten o’ clock in the morning at St. Ignatius Catholic Church at 126 W. Oltorf. Leading the celebration of Melisa’s life will be Father’s Bill Wack, CSC, Father Mike Couhig, CSC and her cousin, Father George Joseph.
