Meredith Savoie

She has been preceded in death by her parents and all siblings: Helen (Teel) Brewer, Emmett Teel, Elmer Teel, Johnny Teel, and Joann Teel. She grew up in West Texas and married Herman Savoie in Jal New Mexico, January 6, 1951. Herman preceded her in death, March 19, 2002.

Herman and Meredith had four children: Terry (Kay) Savoie, Abilene TX; Tony (Nancy) Savoie, Jal NM; Susie Brown, Rogers, NM; Lana (Chris) Massey, Cedar Park, TX.

Meredith had 12 Grandchildren: Eric (Melissa) Savoie, Woburn MA; Erin (William) Smith, Crescent City, CA; Michael (Rita) Savoie, San Angelo, TX; Rusty (Casey) Savoie, Jal, NM; Jeng (Ernie) Bailey, Germany; John (Miki) Savoie, Jal, NM; Sharla (Doni) Doan, San Angelo, TX; Nathan Savoie Brown, Rogers, NM; Sean Savoie Brown, El Paso, TX; Allison (Dennis) Bartley, Cedar Park, TX; Andrea Brown, Albuquerque, NM; and Holly Massey, Cedar Park, TX.

Meredith had 16 Great Grandchildren: Griffin and Rhiannon Savoie, Woburn MA; Ryan, Meghan, and Mackenzie Smith, Crescent City, CA; Daniel, Mikey, and Timmy Savoie, San Angelo, TX; Kyle and Braxton Bailey, Germany; Skyler Chapman, Abilene, TX; Taylor and Camryn Doan, San Angelo TX; Garrett, Cole, and Ty Savoie, Jal NM; and Paislee Bartley, Cedar Park, TX.

Meredith was blessed to have many nieces and nephews, and cousins who were all truly special to her.

She loved to sing, dance, play dominoes & cards. She was a member of the Leander Church of Christ and a resident of the Ranch At Cedar Park where she enjoyed fellowship and bible study with many friends.

She died peacefully at her home on March 4, 2013. Her love of life and bright smile will be missed by many.

Memorials will be accepted at made to the Lakeshore Library in Buchanan Dam, Texas.
