Name of Deceased: Michael Sean Mitchell Age: 50 City of Residence: Lakeway, Texas Date of Birth: January 3, 1959 Place of Birth: San Antonio, Texas Date of Death: May 15, 2009 Place of Death: Lakeway, Texas Michael is survived by his three children, Megan Elizabeth Mitchell of Austin, Sean Keith Mitchell of Houston, and Tara Kathleen Mitchell of Houston; his parents John and Dolores Mitchell of San Antonio; sister Kathleen Hawkins and husband John of Ingram, sister Anne Marie Gorman of Shanghai, China; sister Paula Welder and husband Amos of San Antonio, sister Nancy Mitchell of Mazatlan, Mexico; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his brother, Blake Mitchell. Education: Bachelor of Science with a Degree in Psychology from Sam Houston State University Church: Member of Emmaus Catholic Church of Lakeway, Texas Interests: Michael had such a zest for life. Having never met a stranger, he had many friends from the Houston and Austin areas. He so loved his children and family, and liked to travel with them, seeing all parts of the United States. He loved nature and any outdoor activity, especially swimming and surfing. He had a passion for music, and was drawn to the Austin Music Scene. Michael had an unforgettable laugh, and a philosophy all his own. He will be in our hearts forever.
