Michael Sylvester Prentice, 60, of Austin, Texas passed away on Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at his home surrounded by his loved ones. Michael was born on August 16, 1957, in Tucumcari, New Mexico to Sylvester Anthony Prentice and Frances Corine McDaniel.
He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army and was a Truck Driver for Whole Foods.
Michael is preceded in death by his parents. He will be sadly missed by his beloved wife and soulmate of 29 years, Lorina Prentice of Austin, Texas; his brothers and sisters, Louise, Cathy, Mac, Royal, Joanne, David, Christine, Margaret, John, Thomas, and Monica, and their respective others, along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and a host of friends.
A Celebration of Michael's Life will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, September 30, 2017 in the Chapel of Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Marcellus officiating.
