Mildred L. Douglas, of Austin, Texas, died December 23, 2005. She was born April 22, 1917, in Caney, Kansas to Mary and Harry Douglas. She is preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Lois Douglas and Marian Mitchell. Mildred is survived by one niece, Judith DaMetz and husband Russell; great nieces and nephews, Kathleen Jennings and husband Kevin, Douglas Romig and wife Jill, Jennifer King and husband Brett and Warren Romig. Also surviving are Jonathan, Michael and Katherine Jennings, Seth and Elijah Romig and Ryan and Jessica King. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Oklahoma City, and was retired from Tinker Air Force Base, where she worked for 39 years. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 28, 2005 at Round Mound Cemetery, Cedar Vale, Kansas. Obituary and guestbook available online at wcfish.com
