Mildred (Millie) Bustin Gallo October 31, 1935 November 3, 2004 Millie Gallo, a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother was born October 31, 1935 and passed away on November 3, 2004 while surrounded with family and friends. As a working mother of four, she raised her children with love and compassion, which overflowed into her career with Dr. Sutton at The Austin State Hospital. Over the years, Mildreds knowledge in accounting, business processes and the medical field benefited many. Millie loved to tell stories and old tales from her childhood. She drew great pleasure in working with our family genealogy, gardening and using the computer to reach out to others, as well as a learning tool. The phone and computer were her favorite gadgets. Mildred was preceded in death by her parents, Edward Ernest and Mildred Crockett Bustin and by her brother, Ed E. Bustin. She is survived by her sons Larry P. Akin, Scott D. Akin and his wife Joyce, daughters Janis G. Hawken and her husband Rod, Brenda J. Peterson and her husband Marvin. Her grandchildren Brandon, Chelsea and Dustin Akin of Cedar Park, Christopher and Tyler Akin of Round Rock, Jon Winslett and Matthew and Megan Hawken of Oregon, Justin Peterson and his wife Mina, and Sonja Peterson.
