Monica Gonzales

With profound sorrow but faith in God’s eternal promise, the Gonzales Medina and Frausto Medina family announce the passing of Monica Gonzales Medina, who departed peacefully on June 3, 2025, just days before her 47th birthday.

Monica was born on June 13, 1978, in San Antonio, Texas. Despite the limitations caused by an illness she courageously faced since her youth, she poured boundless love into her family. She leaves behind her beloved daughter, Jessica Gonzales; her grandchildren, Caleb and Elsy; her parents, Celia and José; her siblings, Claudia, Mary, Ramiro, Isaac, and Alexis; and her nieces and nephews, Allen, Julian, Sharon, and LaShon. Her passing leaves us with deep grief, and she will be dearly missed by all the friends and family who were blessed to know her.

Monica will be remembered for her unconditional love, generous spirit, and contagious smile. Though her departure leaves a void in our hearts, we will forever treasure the countless memories she gifted us.
