Nardos was a loving, supportive friend and, an amazing mother and wife. She was a hardworking professional. She was smart and funny (I never get tired of telling the jokes she came up with). When she lived in Ottawa, she took care of us and always remembered to give to someone in need. We really missed her when she left for Austin and we're shocked and deeply saddened by the news of her passing.

I was grateful for a chance to see Nardos earlier this year. We fondly talked about our childhood, growing up in very close knit neighborhood and how we all treated each other as sisters and brothers. Nardos was a smart, loving and vibrant person. After many years apart, I saw her when she drove to Kansas for a visit. I was happy to experience her genuine love. We encouraged and inspired each other and promised to stay in touch. My heart is broken. She was one of a kind, an authentic, loving and caring person. I will miss her and ask God to comfort all of us, especially her husband, children and parents.
