Ret. Msgt., Octavio N. Martinez, Sr. Octavio N. Martinez, Sr., age 82, of Cedar Creek, Texas, formerly of Austin, Texas passed away Monday, December 20, 2004. He was preceded in death by his wife Dolores C. Martinez. He is survived by his daughter, Jane Linda Nunez and husband Roy; sons, Dr. Octavio N. Martinez, Jr., Staff Sgt. Carlos Martinez and wife Laura, Nestor Martinez and wife Cheryl, Marc Martinez, Juan Martinez and wife Keri; grandchildren Raul and Michelle Nunez, Kyle, Nicholas and Delores Martinez, and Zachary Schneider. Octavio was a Retired Master Sgt. with the U. S. Air Force. He served his country honorably during WWII and the Korean War. He was awarded numerous awards and citations during his military career. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM 8:00 PM on Wednesday, December 22, 2004, at Wilke-Clay-Fish Funeral Home. Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, December 23, 2004, at Wilke-Clay-Fish Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Capital Memorial Park in Pflugerville, Texas.
