

Olivia “Lillie” Treviño Gallegos, age 87, passed away peacefully on November 3, 2025, in Austin, Texas. She was born on January 10, 1938, in Pflugerville, Texas, to Joe Treviño and Blanch Gutierez. She spent her life in Austin where she was married to her loving husband for over 64 years. Throughout her life, she worked as a waitress at some of Austin’s most well-known restaurants, including the Nighthawk and the Frisco Shop, where her kind spirit and warm smile left a lasting impression on everyone she served.
Lillie’s life was centered around her family, faith, and community. In her retirement years, she found joy in volunteering at local thrift shops, always eager to help others and offer a kind word or gentle hand. She will be remembered for her loving heart, selflessness, and quiet strength—a woman who gave endlessly and loved deeply.
Lillie is survived by her children, Mary Hope Gallegos; Carlos Gallegos and his wife Flo Gallegos; daughter-in-law Brenda Gallegos; grandchildren Leslie Nicole Davis, her husband Justin Davis and their daughter Juliet River Davis; Philip Gallegos, his wife Kristen Gallegos and their three sons Jude Gallegos, Luke Gallegos and Rex Gallegos; Jacob Gallegos; her three sisters, one brother and many nieces and nephews and extended family members who will forever cherish her memory. Lillie was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Hilario “Lee Gallegos Sr.; her son, Hilario Lee Gallegos Jr.; her parents; and several of her siblings.
A visitation will be held Thursday, November 13, 2025 from 5:00-7:00 pm at Cook-Walden Funeral Home, 6100 North Lamar, Austin, TX., with the rosary to begin at 7:00 pm. The Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, November 14, 2025 at 10:00 am at St Louis Catholic Church, 7601 Burnet Road, Austin, TX with a burial at 2:00 pm at the Cook-Walden Capital Parks Cemetery, 14501 North Ih-35, Pflugerville, TX.
