After retirement, they traveled in their motor home, hiking, and visiting most of the United States and Canada. He enjoyed refinishing furniture and woodworking, making gifts for his grandchildren.
With his wife, Eleanor, they actively volunteered in churches they attended and Montrose Bible Conference in Pennsylvania. They eventually settled in Texas, continuing their volunteer work at Wycliffe Associates in Dallas until they moved to Cedar Park to be closer to Brian and his family.
A memorial service will be held on August 5th, 2024 in Apalachin, New York with burial in Vestal Hills Memorial Park, Vestal, New York.
