Oscar Beyer Mora

Born in 1970 in Houston, he started school in Berlin, Germany; continued elementary school in Taipei, Taiwan; and completed junior high and high school in Sharyland, Texas. His teenage years included a love for skateboarding and music.

College brought Oscar to Austin, Texas, and he embraced the Central Texas appreciation of all things organic and green construction. An invitation to join the family business in McAllen, Texas, took him back to the Rio Grande Valley, where he infused his building design know-how into family projects, businesses, and buildings. He also spent one year in Berlin, Germany, studying with local craftsmen to bring European approaches to his work in McAllen.

Oscar leaves a community of friends, family, and neighbors who will long remember and cherish the affection he showed for his beloved pets, commitment to biking for neighborhood errands to keep our Earth healthy, enjoyment of a delicious cup of morning coffee, and dedication to overflowing flowering greenery around his beautifully designed home and commercial properties.

Oscar will be laid to rest with family in Berlin, Germany.

A Celebration of Life will be held Monday, April 7, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, 5416 Parkcrest Drive, Austin, TX 78731.
