Patricia Ann Price Connolly

Patricia Ann Price Connolly, age 74, passed away on February 25, 2016 from complications from pneumonia at her home in Austin, Texas. She was born August 4, 1941 to Frances and LeRoy Price in Austin. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Tom Connolly, and her parents.

Pat was a loyal Maroon alum of Austin High School as well as Texas State University, then known as Southwest Texas State College. She worked for the VA for many years until her marriage to Tom when she retired. Pat was always the life of the party and all those who knew her loved being around her. She was a devoted member of the Austin Symphony League, Austin Women's Club and The Settlement Home. She worked tirelessly for these groups and had a host of friends from a variety of places. Pat will be truly missed by all those who were privileged to have been in her life.

Pat was a great presence in the lives of all her knew her. She had many "BFF's", loved parties and other social events as well as the many family events she hosted at her home with Dr. Connolly. She was a devoted mother to her son, Craig Johnson, as well as to her sisters, Mary Lou Morrison and Barbara Hill. She was also devoted to her 4 stepchildren, whom she considered her own and brought life and happiness to their family.

Survivors include her son, Craig Johnson, of Austin, sisters, Mary Lou Morrison and husband, Charles also of Austin, Barbara Hill and husband David, of Boerne, Texas. She is also survived by her second family of children, Dan Connolly, Edward Connolly and wife Kelly, all of Austin and Robin Steele and husband Bill, of Atlanta Georgia and Lisa Helin and husband, Robert also of Atlanta Georgia. She is also survived by granddaughter Nicolle Sandlin and husband, Scott of St. John's, Newfoundland, Canada, grandson, Reed Johnson, of Austin, Kathrine and Mac Steele of Atlanta, Jesse Connolly and Boomer Connolly of Austin.

Visitation will be on Thursday, March 3, 2016 at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home at 3125 N. Lamar from 6-8 p.m. Services will also be at Weed-Corley-Fish on Friday, March 4, 2016 at 11:00 am. The family would like to invite you to a reception immediately following the service at the funeral home.
