Patricia Dell O'Meara

She is survived by her children, Evan O’Meara, Mollie O’Meara Axtell (Calvin), Clifton O’Meara (Mary Beth), Erin O’Meara Kiltz (John), Michael O’Meara (Jennifer), James O’Meara (Diana), 10 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren.

Patti is predeceased by parents James and Nellie Dorris Rogers, grandchildren Gracie Kiltz, Clifton Axtell, great-granddaughter Annabelle Axtell, and husband Kenneth W. O’Meara.

She and Kenneth were married nearly 50 years. Patti lovingly referred to him as her “cowboy.” They were inseparable and found great joy spending weekends together at their ranch, where they warmly welcomed friends and family. They also enjoyed a mutual love for Longhorn football and held the same season tickets for five decades. Patti was fiercely loyal to her children and grandchildren and raised them with endless energy and a vibrant sense of humor.

Patti was born in San Antonio, Texas December 29, 1942, and attended Alamo Heights High School and Texas Christian University. She worked for the FBI under J. Edgar Hoover during the Kennedy administration.

In 1981, Patti founded Personal Administrators, Inc. in a time when it was rare for a woman to run her own company. She grew the business to over 100 clients and employed 25 wonderful women. Patti was beloved by her clients. She always put them first with her passion for excellence and creative solutions to challenging problems. Patti’s keen business mind and resourcefulness allowed her to act in the best interest of her clients. She was a captivating storyteller, loyal friend, and inspiring mentor to many. Patti served her clients and loved ones with wisdom, dignity, and grace.

Luke Axtell, Kenneth O’Meara, Riley Kiltz, Calvin Axtell, John Kiltz and Danny Reagan will serve as her pallbearers. The celebration of life will be held on Friday, January 26th at 1:30 PM at Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd at 3201 Windsor Road Austin, Texas 78703. Donations can be made to Brookwood in Georgetown, ROCK, His Grace Foundation, and SAFE.
