Patricia (Pat) Louise McNallen Hagan of Austin, 80, died on Sunday, May 11, 2014 (Mother's Day). She is survived by her five children Cindy and husband, Michael; Bobby and wife Ellen; Sally and husband Phil; Patrick and wife Rosie; and Tony; she is also survived by her wonderful 13 grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
Pat was predeceased by her husband of 57 years, Hilton Hagan and her mother, Sallie Lou McNallen, and father, George Berl McNallen.
Pat was born at home in Forsan, Texas. Upon graduation from Forsan High School, Pat moved to Dallas to attend business school. In Dallas she met Hilton and they were married on October 4, 1954.
In 1966 Pat and Hilton and their five children moved to Austin.
Pat worked for over 20 years for The Sun Dog, 26 Doors and Storm Development. After retirement she worked in the baby class at Tarrytown Children's Center where she was adored by many children in the neighborhood. She was a member of St. Austin's Catholic Church.
The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to all of the staff at Barton Hills Assisted Living for their care.
The family will receive friends and family from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, 3125 N. Lamar Blvd.
The funeral mass will be at Assumption Chapel, 3650 South IH35, Austin, TX 78704 on Wednesday, May 14 at 10 a.m.
