Patricia Rushing Seekatz On July 4, 2009 Pat won her independence from this old world. Born in Weatherford, Texas on December 22, 1949, to S.W. and Kathleen Rushing. Pat graduated from Lanier High School in 1968 and then attended A&C College of Beauty later owning two beauty shops. She married Clyde A. Seekatz March 7, 1969 and together they raised two sons, Allan Wayne and Randy Warren Seekatz. Pat home schooled her sons, managed rental property, and worked with her many craft talents. She was called into ministry to be a gospel music professional artist, ministering with "Heaven Bound" and "Forgiven" Gospel groups for 20+ years and producing several albums. As a prayer warrior, a counselor, a school teacher, a homemaker, a wife, a lover, and a soulmate who knew her husband's every thought because she was so in tune with him. Her family will miss Pat's lovin' kindness and her servant oriented life. We believe now, she is healed, she has completed all that God appointed her to do on this earth and now dwells in the heavens. For those of us who remain behind; husband, Clyde Seekatz; sons, Allan, Randy, and adopted son Jeff; grandchildren, Matthew, Phillip, Morgan, Payton, Ashlie, Austin, Morgan and Steven; mother, Kathleen Rushing of Taylor; brothers Windell Rushing and Wade Rushing; and a host of friends. We considered it a privilege to know such a giant of a person as she. A praise and celebration service will be held at First Baptist Church in Pflugerville, on Saturday, July 18, 2009 at 4:00 p.m. A PTL party will follow, provided by her loving friends. Please join with us in this celebration. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Austin's Christopher House or First Baptist Church of Pflugerville for their wonderful loving care given to Pat and our family.
