Born on May 5, 1960, in Austin, Robin dedicated her life to caring for others. She spent over 20 years as a devoted nurse, offering compassion and skill to countless patients. During the 1980s, she worked on the Seton Hospital floor of unknown diseases caring for AIDS patients. Later, she channeled her creative talents into a second career as a landscape designer, where her love of beauty and nature flourished. Her creativity touched the hearts of many Austinites when she served the community beautifying neighborhoods.
Robin was known for her generous spirit and loving heart. She had a passion for gardening—her hands were almost always in the dirt, nurturing something green—and a flair for fashion that was one of her favorite pastimes.
Robin’s generosity will never be forgotten. Her commitment to recovery and helping others through their own journeys was a cornerstone of her life, as were the families she supported with her business.
She is survived by her children, Emily and Henry Claypool, who will always cherish her magnanimity, resilience, and unwavering support. She is also survived by her loving mother, Patricia Robinson Tyler, brother John Tyler, and sisters Flora Tyler Marvin and Virginia Fleming.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at 6:30 PM at
