

She was preceded in death by her parents, Meltora and James Pierce; sisters, Annette P. Josenberger and Gloria Jean Pierce; and her grandson, Elijah Gary.
Patsy is survived by her husband, Joseph Mason; daughters, Crystal, Angela and Victoria and Angela Mason; grandsons, Justin, Christopher and Isaiah; nieces, Cheryl Buckner, Romena and Tara; nephew, Lawrence E. Joseberger; stepsons, Marque Mason and Delvin Mason; stepsisters, Eddie Mae Wilson and Shanté Pierce; great-nephews, Christopher Josenberger, Michael Williams, Cory Jackson, Greg Sorrells, Jason Williams, Brandon Williams, Datrion Sorrells, Trey Josenberger, Justin Josenberger, and Bernard Jackson; great-nieces, Monae Reese, Shyra Josenberger, Alisha Josenberger and Sara Josenberger.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, June 29, 2012 in the Chapel of Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home with Pastor Michael Rhodes of Austin Cornerstone Church officiating. Patsy will be laid to rest in Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Memorial Park.
Honoring Mrs. Mason as pallbearers will be, Lawrence E. Josenberg, Thomas Marque Mason, Keith Ivory, Michael Bowser, Brandon Williams, Datrion Surrells, James Surrells, and Justin Josenberger. Honorary pallbearer will be Edward Wilson.
Commitment is a key word that can be used to describe the life of Patsy Ann Pierce Mason. She was committed to living the life of a good woman who was both practical and trustworthy. She was committed to the traditional values that she upheld her entire life. She committed herself to being a hard worker who expected the same effort in return from those around her.
