Paul was just like an uncle to me and I could always count on him to be the cool/wierd uncle. I wish I had been able to see him, as he hadn't been able to meet my children. I remember being 4 or 5 years old and he took a dry cleaning bag and put it over his head and body and said "Stephanie don't EVER do this!" Well, I have to say to this day I have never done that. I miss you Paul.    Steph



Please accept our deepest sympathies and condolences for the loss of your son and our friend, Paul Davidson.  Brian and I have may fond memories from our college days of being with Paul.  He was always an interesting person to be around, and he made every situation comical with his sharp wit.  We were very sorry to hear of his early death.  We will miss his intellectual comebacks and quick witted humor.  We wish there were some words of comfort or reasons for his leaving this world prematurely, but we may never know.  We can only hope that your family may find peace in knowing that he is now in God's hands.



I count among my greatest blessings the fact that Paul was a friend and colleague of mine.  As colleagues working together at the City of Arlington I valued tremendously his professionalsim, wisdom, vision, compassion and his positive attitude toward life.  His judgement, advice, concern and dedication was second to none and I am greatful for the many times he helped me through difficult times. More important to me was his personal friendship.  Paul always demonstrated his interest in you, your family and your well being and genuinely cared for others above self. He never left a friend in need.  I will miss him dearly and express my deepest sympathy to his family



I worked with Paul at the City Attorney's Office in Arlington from 1983 through 1992.   He always had a genuine concern for everyone in our office, including the obstinate ones.  His natural compassion and humor in the most difficult situations made him a strong ally.  Our office was uniquely blessed by his presence and openess.  Whenever our paths crossed during the years following his employment here in Arlington, he had such a keen recollection of your values and interests and would joke and carry on as if it were just yesterday that you had worked together.  He was a sweet and compassionate man and I will miss him dearly.



I had heard of Paul's passing today at work, at the City of Arlington.  I admire him thru his reputation as being so personable, ethical and being able to achieve so much with great respect.  My only regret is not having the opportunity to know him better.  My thoughts and prayers goes out to you, his family and close friends.



Please accept my sympathy. What a great loss.  Paul was always so kind, sweet and cordial to me. I always loved talking and visiting with him. He was one class guy!



Paul, I regret that you had to leave us at such a young age when you had so many contributions ahead of you.  You were so talented and such a good friend for those of us who relied upon you when you worked in the Arlington City Attorney's Office.    I know your friends and family will miss you greatly.



Rest in peace buddy, I've missed you over the years - you were a great friend.



Our neighborhood is a very sad place right now. We will no longer be greeted by Paul's friendly smile and wave as we pass by his house. He was truly a sweetheart of a man. He will be greatly missed by us all.

Paul was my soft spoken, astute work associate with a wry sense of humor - all of which will be missed. He managed to maneuver work related issues toward alternative solutions when faced with obstacles.  I only wish we all (and those he confided in) could have helped him with life's obstacles.



Paul--what a shock to hear that you have left us.  I will miss you profoundly.  The world is a sadder place today.
