

Paul Henry Lippe, was born August 21, 1923 near Priddy, Texas. He was one of nine children of Willie and Emma Lammert Lippe. He was baptized into the Lutheran church and remained faithful all of his life. Paul was united in marriage to Wynoma Hull on August 21, 1948 by the Reverend E. Rowoldt at Trinity Lutheran Church in Miles, Texas. The union was blessed with one son and one foster son.
Soon after his marriage, he moved to Odessa, Texas and was employed by Atlantic Refining Company, now British Petroleum. He worked as a roustabout and pumper. He was transferred to Anchorage, Alaska in 1977 and worked in production until he retired in 1982. He returned to Buchanan Dam, Texas where he resided with Wynoma until she passed in 1999. He then came to the Austin area to be near his son, Gary and daughter-in-law, Vicki.
It was at Stonebridge Health Center in Austin, Texas on Tuesday, April 13th, 2010, that the Lord God in his goodness, love and mercy saw fit to take Paul to himself in heaven. He was 86 years of age.
He is survived by his sons, Gary Lippe and wife, Vicki, and JD Burns; grandchildren, Alton Paul Lippe and Monica and Alton’s mother, Susan Lippe, Eric and Valarie Mckenney, Nikki Otto, Mark and Stacey Burns, Celeste and Kenneth Lyons; great-grandchildren, Xenia, Zahn Paul, Shellee Jo, Eric Jr., Machaelah, Mackenzie, Madison, Colton Paul, Carissa, and Dustin; sisters-in-law, Hanna, Allene, Ruth, Dolores, and Bobbie; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Clara and Henrietta; and brothers, Albert, Richard, Henry, Edward, Bill, and Herbert.
Memorial services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, April 18, 2010 at Christ Lutheran Church, 300 East Monroe Street in Austin, Texas.
