Our beloved Paula F Hernandez age 88, was called to our Heavenly Father on Friday June 23, 2023. She was born June 7, 1935 in Brenham TX to Porfirio and Luz Figueroa, the 11th of 14 children. Paula retired after 36 honorable years at Seton Hospital as a Food Service Aide. Paula loved being around her family especially her grand-children and great grand-children. She loved to cook and feed everyone that came to visit her. She was the matriarch that brought everyone together. She enjoyed gardening, bingo, gambling and watching her Dallas Cowboys,
Paula is survived by husband Ignacio Hernandez, Daughter Frances Felan (Jimmy), Daughter Esther Vasquez, Son Julian Hernandez (Letty), Grandchildren Gabriel, Anica, James, Mark, Phillip, AJ, Andrea, Ariana, Andrew, and Alexander ,and 11 Great-grandchildren. Her only surviving sister, Susanna Ramirez. Paula is preceded in death by her parents Porfirio and Luz Figueroa, sons; Oscar and Ernest Hernandez, Brothers; Benjamin, Pedro, Pascual, Lalo, Mike, Carlos, Sisters; Teresa, Lucia, Eloisa, Martha, Mary Lou, and Guadalupe.
