Peggy Jean Hamilton

Peggy graduated from Hollywood Hills High School. She then attended L.H. Bates Vocational-Technical Institute where she earned the title of Licensed Practical Nurse. Peggy would later receive training at Francis Tuttle Vocational Tech Center and Austin Community College.

Faith was always a major part of Peggy's life. She was a member of St. Ruth's Missionary Baptist Church in Dania, Florida, and would later become a member of Zion Rest Baptist Church in Austin, Texas.

Peggy enjoyed sewing, bike riding, camping, and especially spending time with the family dog, Leo. She also loved bowling, basketball, baseball, and football.

Peggy's proudest moments were attending her children's college graduations.

Peggy is survived by her husband Bernard Hamilton; daughter Laquida E. Hamilton; brothers Jack Brown of Hollywood, Florida, Donell Brown and spouse Christine of Miami, Florida, and Theodore Brown and spouse Lisa of Santa Rosa, California; sisters Ernestine Belifanti of Dania, Florida, Joyce Flowers and spouse Raleigh of Dania, Florida, Linda West and spouse Torriz of Atlanta, Georgia, and Jewel Major and spouse Franklin of Buford, Georgia; as well as by lots of loving friends and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Peggy is preceded in death by her parents Jessie and Mabel Brown; her son Allan L. McIntyre Jr.; her beloved dog Leo; brothers Clifford Brown and Thomas Brown; sister Earleen Gray; as well as by sister-in-law Angie Brown and brother-in-law Justin Belifanti.
