Pete Sanchez Lopez, age 84, of Austin was called by our Heavenly Father on Thursday, November 19, 2009. His sharp wit and winning personality will be missed by all who loved and knew him. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 34 years, Pauline Galvan Lopez. Pete is survived by sister, Tommy L. Salazar; sons, Richard G. Lopez, Thomas G. Lopez: Robert G. Lopez, Joseph A. Lopez, Samuel G. Lopez; daughters, Susan A. Rocha, Irene M. Dowling. Pete was blessed with 22 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm on Saturday, November 21, 2009 at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, 2620 South Congress Avenue. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will follow at 5:00 pm.
