Born in Wichita Falls, Texas on September 28, 1964 to Garett and Carolyn Sue Harbison. Randy was a published poet and recipient of the International Poet of Merit Award. He had a passion for innovation and had several patents for his inventions. Randy was a U.S. Sales Manager in the semi-conductor industry. His work took him to several different countries over the course of his career and he won numerous “top performer” awards while he was a program manager at GE.
Randy was very athletic and a star football player in high school. He enjoyed golf, fishing, water skiing, target shooting and fierce ping pong competitions with his friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Garett Harbison and mother, Carolyn Sue Harbison.
His surviving family members include sisters, Debra Harbison, Angela Haley, brother-in-law, Michael Haley; nephews, Christopher Hawkins and Bradley Haley and his beloved dog, Maya. Randy also had many close friends and associations. He will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved him.
Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, May 4, 2013 in the Chapel of Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home with Reverend Don Long to officiate.
