Rex Neal Van de Putte

Rex was the son of Gregory Rex Van de Putte and Samantha Isaacs.

Rex is survived by his brothers Elliot Taylor and Asher Van de Putte.

His maternal grandparents are James Neal Isaacs of Austin and Robert and Marlene Hargrove of Shawnee, Oklahoma. His maternal aunts are Angela Isaacs Johnson, Carrie Isaacs Barnes, and Macey Isaacs; maternal cousins are Meagan, Van, Coy, Claire, Ethan, and Sydney. Rex's paternal grandparents are Henry P. Van de Putte, Jr. and Senator Leticia Van de Putte of San Antonio. His paternal aunts and uncles are Nichole and Jason Stiles, Vanessa Van de Putte, Henry and Rena Van de Putte, Isabella Van de Putte, and Paul Van de Putte; paternal cousins are Julian, Jove, and Marlo. Great-grandparents include Verla Fhuer of Florida, Belle and Juan Ortiz, Daniel and Barbara San Miguel, and Elizabeth and Robert Hodnett all of San Antonio.

Special aunts and uncles are April Hill and her daughter Hannah, Lisa Hall and her children Noah and Presley, and Louie Hidalgo.

Baby Rex gave us a lifetime of love during his short time on earth.

The viewing will be on Friday, May 10 at 5:00 PM at St. Austin's Catholic Church, 2026 Guadalupe St., Austin, TX 78705, with The Rosary at 6:00 PM officiated by Deacon Billy Atkins and Senator Eddie Lucio. The funeral Mass will be on Saturday, May 11, 2013 at 10:00 AM officiated by Rev. Richard Wosman, S.M. also at St. Austin's Catholic Church with private burial to follow.
