
I am grateful for the many memories of my Dad that I hold dearly in my heart. He was fun to be with and I learned a lot about life from Dad.     We shared a love of fishing, and I will never forget the day on Lake Travis when I hung what I thought was a big fish. Dad and Ginia were excited too, until we saw it was a large tree limb. Disappointment turned to laughter though, because when we traced the line we found someone else had lost their line and there was a big White hanging on it. Now, that's the kind of fish story Dad loved to tell, and he told it often, that's a fact.     But one of my sweetest memories of all was when I had surgery in 1997 and my Dad would not leave me that night. He stayed with me until morning, sleeping in an uncomfortable recliner. And that's the way he loved us girls, and that's a fact. I love my Dad, and I miss him. Think of you daily Dad.



Richard was my uncle, I loved him very much and will miss him very much.  I have so many wonderful memories that will always be a comfort to me.    Margie Ann



Two of my favorite memories of you are many years apart... the first is going to Taco Bell in Las Vegas and getting to order as many tacos as I wanted!  What a thrill for a 10 year old... the other sitting on the lake dock in Roswell while you explained your favorite way to catch fish and your many adventures in life, 32 years later... sad to think that more memories won't be added to these and the many others that you gave me.  An era has passed now that you and grandma are gone, and it is up to those of us who are left to make memories for the next generation... My Grandpa was a character.  He loved a good joke...and some of the not so good ones.  He had a quip for just about every situation and I think that's one of the things his children and grandchildren inherited from him.  Although it is now an infamous quote in our family, I shall always remember, "Why don't you just eat and leave the food alone!"  I loved my granpda and I am a better man for having known him.  I look forward to seeing him again one day when we shall all stand together in heaven.  I love you Grandpa...



My dad never met a stranger.  Spoke and acknowledged everyone.  He loved people, and every acquaintance was a pleasure to get to know.  Dad believed it truly was "A Wonderful Life" here with all of us.  We are sad knowing he cannot call us from his cell phone anymore.  He will always live in my heart and I will recall the laughter and loving moments we shared.  We love you dad. Beth

Sorry to read of your loss Dick was a very good man. I know- I worked with him at the wastewater plant here for several years until his retirement. The world needs more Richard Howe's.
