Robbie Frazier Welch

After graduating from High School, Robbie attended Beauty College in Waco, Texas and went on to work as a manicurist in Fort Worth, Texas. She married Johnie James Billings February 1950 and together they had seven children. In 1969, she married Curtis Welch.

She raised her family and later returned to work as a Medical Aide with the Travis State School for boys. She continued to utilize her beautician skills and would cut hair for family and friends. She was World Stone Skipping Champion V Division Ladies in 1992. A devout Christian, she attended church all her life, her life was her family, God, friends and pets.

She was preceded in death by her parents; both husbands; and by her sister, Billie Louise Frazier of Austin.

She is survived by her brother, Jerry McMillion; and her seven children, Brenda Kay (Billings) Zejdl, Linda Fay (Billings) Bishop, Rebecca L. (Billings) Boerner, Rhonda Gail (Billings) Mattsen, Johnnie Loraine (Billings) Love-Marx, Alma Jean (Billings) Dodson and James Robert Billings; ten grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Sunday, May 12, 2013 in the Chapel of Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home. Graveside services will follow at 4:00 p.m. at Union Cemetery in Lott, Texas.
