Bob Williamson, 62, of Austin, passed away on Thursday, December 16, 2010. He was born on July 14, 1948 in Houston, TX and raised by his wonderful parents, Ed Schmidt and Odessa Williamson Gaddis Schmidt.
Bob proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era and while stationed in Germany. Before becoming disabled in 2000, he was employed as a HVAC Technician with Liberty Mechanical where he worked for over 10 years. Bob was a talented musician and songwriter and an avid Astros baseball fan.
Bob is preceded in death by his father, Ed Schmidt and brothers, David and Barry Williamson.
Bob is survived by his loving mother, Anne Schmidt; sons, Joey Williamson and Scotty Williamson and his wife Amanda; sisters, Jay Anne Hord and husband Terry and Carol Collins and husband John; grandchildren, Sawyer, Hailey and Logan Williamson; uncle and aunt, Bob and Aunt Sam Beneski and numerous other loving family members and friends.
Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 21, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church, 26160 Ranch Road 12, Dripping Springs, Texas.
