Robert "Rusty" W. Kirschner

Rusty enjoyed playing golf, he was known to play with Ben Crenshaw and Tom Kite and many others. He had a passion for horses, he raised them and he was well known for cutting horses and won three world cutting horse championships. Rusty was on the NCHA committee since 1980. His wife Judy worked by his side for two years while he cut with his horses and attended NCHA Futurity Championships. He owned a trucking business and he traveled around the United States. And within his company he owned over 17 18 wheeler trucks.

He is survived by his wife, Judy Walden-Kirschner; and his two sons, Samuel Wayne Najvar and Robert Werner Kirschner.

Visitation with the family will be held Sunday, January 15, 2017 at 1:00pm followed by the memorial service at 2:00pm at Cook-Walden Funeral Home, 6100 North Lamar Blvd, Austin, Texas 78752.
