

Robert M. Lueck, age 80, of Austin, Texas, passed away Monday afternoon, January 27, 2025, at his residence. Robert was born April 6, 1944, in Rochester, Minnesota, a son of the late Roy and Dorothy Lueck.
Robert graduated from Mankato State University, majoring in Business and Accounting. After college, he worked for IBM for 30 years before retiring. Robert was also very proud of serving in the U.S. Army Reserves for 7 years.
Robert will be dearly missed by friends and family alike. Family was of the utmost importance to him and was always available in a time of need. Robert was a devoted father, brother, friend, and grandfather. His role as Papa/Pops made him particularly proud, and he would do everything in his power to attend baseball games, basketball games, football games, volleyball games, and concerts. He will be remembered as selfless, hardworking, funny, kind, wanting to help those less fortunate, and he aspired to make the “right” decision in life.
Robert was preceded in death by his wife and best friend of 41 years, Judith A. Lueck, which he affectionately nicknamed “Hoodie”; his brother, David A. Lueck; his parents, Roy and Dorothy (Langton) Lueck; and his grandparents, Merton and Lena Langton.
Survivors include two sons, Bob (Lisa) Lueck and Tom Lueck of Austin, Texas; identical twin brother, Richard (Jill) Lueck of Medina, Minnesota; five grandchildren, Dylan Lueck, Cooper Lueck, Maxwell Lueck, Avery Lueck, and Georgia Lueck; three nephews, Mike (Jillene) Lueck of Pflugerville, Texas, Jeff Lueck of Emily, Minnesota, and Brian (Lindsay) Lueck of Bayport, Minnesota; loving companion, Patty White of Pflugerville, Texas; and his beloved dog, Abbey.
