Robert McDaniel, age 60, died peacefully at home on May 29, 2006 after living strong with cancer for nearly eight years. He persevered and quietly accepted each new treatment, determined to see life unfold for his children. His son, Kevin, was 16; his daughter, Melanie, only 12, when cancer changed his life forever. Roberts courage and attitude inspired friends and family. Robert was born in Sacramento, California on August 1, 1945 to Ned and Mary McDaniel. Robert will be remembered for his integrity, love of family, love of a good time, and as an avid sports fan. His father, Ned McDaniel, and his father-in-law, B.B.
