Born on August 27, 1963, Roxane was the beloved daughter of Robert Earl Henderson and Jeanette Marie Werner Henderson. She embarked on her journey through life with determination and passion, graduating from B.F. Terry High School in Rosenberg, Texas in 1982. After completing her education, Roxane pursued a career in the banking industry in Jacksonville, Florida. However, her heart brought her back to Houston in 1989, where she continued to excel in banking. Seeking new challenges, Roxane transitioned to the Title Business in the early 90s, finding fulfillment and envisioning it as her long-term career. As an Escrow Assistant, she offered her expertise and passion to support two closers.
Roxane’s vibrant personality illuminated every room she entered. She possessed a contagious energy, full of rowdiness and occasional mischief, always offering a sparkling sense of humor and quick-witted comebacks. Two places held a special place in her heart- the beach and the lake. Roxane found solace and joy in simple pleasures like walking along the shore, collecting shells, or playfully skipping stones across the lake and serene waters.
Roxane was preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Joe and Minnie Barak; her grandmother, Margerit Werner; as well as her parents, Robert Earl Henderson and Jeanette Marie Werner Henderson. She is survived by her eldest sister, Kimberly Ann Henderson Boudny, and her youngest sister, Katherine Henderson Sepeda, along with Katherine’s spouse, Michael Sepeda. Roxane’s sisters remember her as an extraordinary sibling and a cherished friend, and her absence is deeply felt by all who had the honor of knowing her.
As the days pass by, the void left by Roxane is keenly felt, but her loved ones find solace in the certainty that she resides in a better place, embraced by the loving hands of our Lord God Almighty. Her memory continues to inspire and uplift them, reminding them to embrace the simple joys of life, just as she did.
Though Roxane’s physical presence may be absent, her vibrant spirit will live on, forever etched in the hearts of those she touched. May she rest in everlasting peace.
