She is survived by children, Rolfe Nordyke and Alison, David Nordyke and Melissa, Krag Nordyke and Andrew Rodriguez, Robin Nordyke Pugh and Robyn Nordyke; grandchildren, Cody Flesch and Dannie, Courtney Nordyke, Brandon Pugh, Kourtney and Clayton Boyd; and sisters, Estelle Larson and Dorothy Kotrla and Albert.
Ruby was very active in the Austin community for many years with the South Austin Evening Lions Club, Austin Aqua Fest, Humane Society of Austin and Travis County, Travis Heights Elementary School, Fulmore Middle School, Travis High School and South Austin Lions Little League. She was an active member of Parker Lane United Methodist Church.
The family will receive visitors Thursday, October 18 from 6 - 8 pm at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, 2620 S. Congress. Funeral service will be Friday at 2 pm at Parker Lane United Methodist Church. Interment will be Saturday in Ross Cemetery, Baird, Texas.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Texas Lions Camp, Parker Lane United Methodist Church or the charity of your choice.
