Ruth Garner, age 94, of Austin, Texas passed away on May 27, 2007. She was born on September 8, 1912 to James and Dessie Lee Bailey in Bonham, Texas. Ruth is preceded in death by her spouse, George Howard Garner; and son, Lee Edwin Garner. She is survived by her grandsons, James David Garner, Mark Edwin Garner, Kevin Lee Garner, Christopher Dane Garner; daughter-in-law, Cheryl Garner. Serving as pallbearers will be Reuben Olivo, Kevin Patterson, Christopher Garner, David Garner, Mark Garner and Kevin Garner. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, May 30, 2007 at Wilke-Clay-Fish Chapel. Interment will follow at Forest Oaks Memorial Park.
