

Loved by all, Sandy was retired from The Texas Commission on Law Enforcement, and enjoyed traveling with her late husband Otis, and also, the many adventures with her grandchildren.
She was a lifetime member of The VFW Ladies Auxillary and looked forward to playing Mexican Train with “the girls”. She enjoyed reading, crochet, knitting, and baking…and she adored her long hair Chihuahua,Tad.
Sandy was preceded in death by her beloved Husband Otis and parents, Gordon and Florence Forbes.
She is survived by her daughters, Melodee and husband Michael Hinkley, Teresa Reeves and Monty Bell.
Sandy was most proud of her Granddaughters; Tiffany (David) Miner, Lauren (Dustin) Martinez, Kelsey (Homer) Fernandez, and Paige Reeves (Dylan Smith)
In addition, Sandy is survived by her sister Patricia Foley and brother Rocky Forbes, Great Grands; Khloe, Sadie, Josie, Marleigh, and Bryce.
Funeral Mass will be March 12, 2024 at 10am with Msgr. William Brooks at St. Albert The Great Catholic Church
Private internment at Central Texas Veterans Cemetery in Killeen on Thursday March 14,2024.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Albert The Great Catholic Church or The Christopher House (Hospice Austin).
