After battling cancer for several years, Sandra Lynn Speir left this temporary life and fragile physical body to begin her eternal reward in heaven with our God on April 25th. She will be reunited with the love of her life, Craig Speir, who left us in 1989.
Sandra was born on Dec. 23, 1944 in Blanco. She is survived by son Russell Speir and spouse, Leslie, son Mark and spouse, Karen and grandchildren Drew, Taylor, Lily and Sam. She is also survived by mother Winnie Felps and brothers and sisters, Dorothy Mays, Jimmie Felps, Randy Felps, Barbara Reiger, Ralph Felps and Winnie Lee Fulkes.
Because of the way she lived as a caring and generous individual, she would appreciate donations to the Southwest School of Bible Studies and the Christopher House in Austin, Texas.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 28th from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Cook-Walden Forest Oaks located on 6300 W. William Cannon, Austin, TX. The memorial service will be held at the Southwest Church of Christ, 8900 Manchaca Rd, Austin, TX on Monday, April 29th, 10:00 am. Interment will follow at 1:00 p.m. at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery located at 14501 N. IH-35 in Pflugerville, Texas.
