Seferino Ray Frausto III

Our beloved Seferino Ray Frausto III, age 40, of Austin, Texas entered eternal rest on Saturday, November 16, 2024, in the comfort of his family home.

Leaving behind a legacy of live, laughter, silliness and a kindness that affected all who knew him. Seferino was a gentle giant who graduated from Travis High School where he played football, position right tackle, throughout his high school career. One of his many passions was car audio and mechanics, which he turned into a lucrative career. He loved him a mamalona. If you know, you know.

Seferino, better known as "Sefe" or "Frosty", met his wife, Corina Angela Ybarra, in 2007. From that beautiful union three children were born: DeAngelo Kain (16), Nickolas Ray (15), and Isabella Rose (7).

Sefe's true passion was taking his family to the beach as often as possible. He enjoyed teaching his nieces and nephews the art of fishing. Afterwards he would fire up the black top and prepare some of the best food. He was truly happiest enjoying a meal with his family while listening to the waves of the ocean.

His wealth of knowledge and love for helping others was unmatched. His deep love and kindness were constants in all Sefe's roles, doting husband, beloved father, son, brother, and friend.

Sefe was preceded in death by his father, Seferino Ray Frausto, Jr.; maternal grandmother, Alice Ramos Ojeda; paternal grandparents, Anacleto and Eusebia Perez; and mother-in-law, Dora Benitez, better known as "Mom".

He is survived by his loving and cherished wife, Corina; their three children, Kain, Nick, and Isabella; mother, Diana; two Brothers Chris (Diane) Joey(D) one Sister Alicia (Shawn) and one Bonus Sister Stephanie (J) grandpa, Alvino; eleven nieces and nephews, Neveah, Chris, Jr., Nellie, Zayden, LJ, Noah, Jasmine, Jay, Zach, KeKe, Trini one great-niece, Milana, and aunts, uncles, and many cousins.

A visitation for Seferino will be held Sunday, December 1, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, 2620 South Congress Avenue, Austin, TX 78704. A Recitation of the Holy Rosary will occur Sunday, December 1, 2024, from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM, 2620 South Congress Avenue, Austin, TX 78704. A Mass of Christian Burial will occur Monday, December 2, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 1206 E 9th St, Austin, TX 78702. A graveside service will occur Monday, December 2, 2024, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Elgin Latin Cemetery, 305 Ochoa St, Elgin, TX 78621.
