Growing up in Austin, Shaman made lifelong friends wherever he went. As a teenager he played football, joined the marching band, and the drama club, he could often be found rolling around Austin on his skateboard. Shaman also traveled extensively around the country. He attended both Crocket High School, and W.R. Robbins High School, where he made many friends. He also attended ACC.
As part of a musical family, Shaman often worked with the crew and did promotional work for Shiva’s Headband. Shaman also enjoyed drumming on his own.
Cooking was his passion, though. Being a bakery chef was one of the great joys of his life.
Shaman was an active member of VOCAL-TX, where he proudly and passionately contributed to their work advocating for low-income Texans. He also volunteered with the Texas Harm Reduction Alliance.
We celebrate Shaman’s life on Saturday, July 19th at 1:00PM at the Weed Corley Fish Funeral Home, 2620 S Congress Ave, Austin, TX.
Refreshments will be served afterwards for family and friends to spend time together and to share stories and fond memories of Shaman.
