Age 56, Shelley Kay (Taylor) Bradshaw passed away on April 13, 2018 in the loving embrace of her husband and family. Born in Michigan, Shelley was a lifelong Austinite, the beloved youngest daughter of Hilliard and Vicki Taylor.
Shelley partnered with her husband Brent in their long-time Austin family business, Durable Medical Equipment. She was known for her ability to connect with people, resulting in a natural affinity for customer service. Shelley began her career in retail and worked over 20 years at Frost Bank, ending her banking career as an assistant vice president. She loved family gatherings, jumped at the opportunity to dance to a funky beat and never found a shoe store she didn’t like.
Shelley is survived by her devoted husband of 34 years, Brent Bradshaw, and their daughters Victoria Bradshaw and Olivia Bradshaw; mother, Vicki Taylor; mother-in-law Mary Bradshaw; sister Valerie Taylor Schkade and husband Steve Schkade; sister Deena Taylor Rolls and husband Larry Rolls, and nieces Alanna Giusto and Lauren Rolls; and aunt Dee Turner and husband John Turner. Sister- in- law Brenda Hernandez and her husband Nash Hernandez, Jr. Her father, who passed away due to Alzheimer’s at age 89, preceded Shelley in death.
The Bradshaw family wishes to thank the wonderful caregivers at Hospice Austin and Visiting Angels.
