Simone Rene Novak

To know Simone was to love her. She was raised in Houston, Texas, but Simone spent much of her adult life in Austin, where she embraced life with an open heart and a passion for nature. Simone loved being outside—whether riding mountain bikes, floating down the river, sitting around a fire, or spending time on the lake. But more than anything, she cherished her family and friends.

Simone is survived in death by her beloved children, Jameson and Bradley Novak, and her husband, Thomas Novak. She is also remembered by her father, Charlie Parker; mother, Regina Parker Ciliax; stepfather, Jimi Ciliax; sister, Ashton Wright; and brother-in-law, Randy Wright. She leaves behind many cherished aunts, uncles, and cousins, including Brittney Germany, Chellsea Matthews, Chandler Matthews, Chance Matthews, Brandi Matthews, Kayla Matthews, Chase Matthews, Chyann Matthews, Ricky Matthews, Kimber Matthews, Deanna Matthews, Amy Matthews, Phillip Matthews, Mary Lee, Brandi Delasbour, and Jordan Holmes along with countless other family members and dear friends who held a special place in her heart.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home for their compassionate care during Simone’s final days.

Family and friends are welcome to attend a private viewing that will take place at 10:00 a.m. Interment will take place at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be directed to Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home and Memorial Park.
