Born on August 6, 1990 in South Korea, Stanley grew up in Palo Alto, California. He attended Jordan Middle School and Palo Alto High School and later went on to study at Philadelphia University. Stanley was an avid golfer who found both challenge and peace on the course. He was also a lifelong learner, someone who refused to settle for complacency and was always pushing himself to grow.
Stanley served as the Chief Operating Officer of the family business, Lee and J Hospitality inc. He was more than a boss to his employees - he was a mentor and a friend. Anyone who knew Stanley knows he was one of a kind. He had a strong will and a generous heart. He was firm in his beliefs, but always kind and fair. He was the friend you could depend on when it really mattered and the one who wouldn't hesitate to tell you the truth, even when it was hard to hear.
Stanley leaves behind a legacy of deep friendship and unwavering love. He will be missed more than words can express by all of who had the gift of truly knowing him.
He is survived by his loving wife Maria Chun (née Brough) and their cherished son, Harper Stanley. He is also survived by his parents, Lee Ho Chun and Chi Ying Sun (also known as Jean), and his maternal grandparents. Left to mourn him are his father- and mother-in-law, Andrew and Dien Brough; his sisters-in-law, Dolores Zomorrodian and Jacqueline Brough; his brother-in-law Andrew Brough; and their spouses. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews and dear friends.
Though his time with us was far too short, Stanley's spirit will live on in all who knew him - in the stories we share, the lessons he taught us, and the love he gave so freely.
Rest in peace, Stanley. You are forever in our hearts.
