Suk Bae Coleman passed away peacefully at age 77 on Thursday March 4th, 2021. She was born near Seoul, South Korea in 1943. She was blessed to have three children : Esan Coleman, Marie Coleman and Cristina Coleman.
Suk owned a salon called Styles Unlimited in Universal City, TX in the 1980s-1992. In 1993, Suk moved to Guam and owned a bar/nightclub establishment. She wanted a change of scenery and loved the island life. In 1996, she moved to Austin to be closer to her daughter Marie. She returned to the cosmetology industry starting off at Sports Clips. From the late 1990s - 2008, she was a thriving independent contractor at the Beauty Store and Salon in north and central Austin locations. Her clientele ranged from local TV anchors, executives, and physicians to soccer moms. She loved her craft, transforming her clients to be their best selves. Her favorite quote was "when you look good, you feel better."
She hung up her scissors when her first grandchild, Giovani Nacamuli, was born. She retired in comfort as a real estate investor. She was thrilled to be a Grandmother to her three adorable granddaughters Bella Coleman, Mia Coleman and Kiana Coleman. She was fiercely independent and had a work ethic like no other. She loved to exercise early in the morning, cook a wide variety of dishes, and enjoyed gardening. She practiced Buddhism. She will be missed dearly.
