Sun Sil Lee was born in Pusan, Korea October 24, 1937. She lived most of her life in Itasca and Bloomingdale, IL and passed on April 25, 2020 at Sagebrook Health Center in Cedar Park, Texas.

She grew up in Pusan, Korea and graduated from Yonsei University in Seoul with a degree in Classical Music for singing and piano. After moving from Connecticut to Illinois, she and my father built Beam Industries, a small telecom company. She invested a lot of her time into her faith, church choir, friends, and charities (Korean Lions Club for adoptive children).

Sun is survived by her daughter, Catherine Braun, son-in-law William Braun and their two children, Soren and Ethan.

There will be a family only visitation at Cook - Walden Chapel of the Hills Funeral Home on May 2nd, and a reception to be had at a later date.
