Susana V. Arevalo

Our beloved, Susana Arevalo, gained her angel wings on Sunday, March 6th 2022 while surrounded by her loving family. Susana was born on August 11th, 1935 to Refugio and Aniceta Villalobos. She was the oldest of 9 children. On May 29th, 1960 she married the love of her life, Ralph Arevalo Jr., and together they had 3 wonderful children named Ernest, Oscar, and Rebecca. She lived to serve the Lord and La Virgen De Guadalupe. She was a proud member of the Guadalupana Society at St. Julia Catholic Church.

She is survived by her husband Ralph Arevalo Jr., her children, Ernest (Cindy) Arevalo, Rebecca (Steve) Arevalo-Cortez, and daughter-in-law, Terri Arevalo. She is also survived by her grand-children, Joe (Adela) Gonzales, Samuel Gonzales, Matthew (Abbie Chasteen) Gonzales, Arianna Cortez, Bianca Arevalo, Sophia Arevalo, Christian Arevalo, Jessie (Dorinda) Montoya, Janelle Montoya, and Johnathan Arevalo, and 6 great-grandchildren, Mya Gonzales, Noah Arevalo - Ibarra, Rafael Gonzales, Emilio Montoya, Isaiah Arevalo, Elias Montoya. As well as her siblings, Veronica Villalobos, Felipe Villalobos, Julia (Tony) Padilla, Joe (Susan Stowe) Villalobos, John (Hope) Villalobos, and sister-in-laws, Lupe Villalobos and Rosie Villalobos, with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her supportive parents, Refugio and Aniceta Villalobos, her loving child, Oscar Arevalo, and her great grandchild, Juleanna Arevalo-Chavez, and siblings Gregorio Villalobos, Jesus Villalobos, Gabriel Villalobos, and sister-in-law, Annie Villalobos.

The visitation honoring Susana Arevalo will be held on March 11th from 5-7 PM at St. Julia Church at 3010 Lyons Rd with a 7 PM Rosary to follow.

Mass will be conducted the following day, March 12th at 9 AM at St. Julia Church with a Committal to follow at Assumption Cemetery located at 3650 S I-35 Frontage Rd.

Food and fellowship will be held after from 12-3 PM at Nuestra Señora de los Dolores Catholic Church at 1111 Montopolis Dr.
