Suzanne McCauley DeBruin, 71, of Cedar Park, Texas, went to be with her heavenly father on Sunday April 29, 2012 surrounded by many loving friends and family. Born July 14, 1940 in Lubbock, Texas, the daughter of Julian Byron McCauley and Ruby Tom McCauley. She was an active member of Hill Country Bible Church, and a devoted sister in Christ to her ladies bible study group. She loved serving the Lord by helping others and being a true friend and confidante. Despite her illness, her last days were filled with laughter, joy, and a positive attitude about her days to come.
She is preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.
Survived by her brother, Bill McCauley and wife, Phyllis; her three loving children: Kent McEntire and wife, Lisa; Jeff McEntire and wife, Bridgette; and Mindy Germany and husband Rob Germany. Seven beautiful grandchildren: Trey McEntire, who is currently serving our great country in Afghanistan; Katy Krueger, Hunter McEntire, Sami McEntire, Miranda McEntire, Maya Koproski, and Gracie Germany.
We cannot forget to include her sweet little Chihuahua, Zoe, who brought more joy and companionship to her life than one can imagine.
We will miss her wonderful sense of humor and infectious laugh; but most of all, we will miss her unconditional love and devotion to those she cared for.
A public visitation will be 5:00-6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at Cook-Walden Chapel of the Hills Funeral Home in Austin, Texas with a funeral service following the visitation. Interment services will be private.
